The object of knowing is constantly changing.

Objects of thought, rather than objects of perception, are real, more perfect, intellectual, and constant.

Knowledge will give you power, but character respect.

Learning is discovery, the discovery of the cause of our ignorance.

Feeling, tasting, sensational experiment, etc., are dogmas and not true knowledge as they can be wrong.

Knowledge is not simply perception.
